This is a list of off-road trails and areas in San Diego County, California.

If you are unsure whether any road in San Diego County is public or private you can call the Survey Section of the County Real Estate Services Division at (858) 694-2291 during regular work hours. Ask for the public assistance personnel in the Survey Section. The Cleveland National Forest maintains the Forest Road Status and Conditions web site where you can find the current status (open or closed) of roads within the CNF.
