The Mojave National Preserve exists in the Mojave Desert of Southern California, between highways 40 and 15. The preserve coveres 1.5 million acres in total.
One of the most popular off-road trails passing through the Mojave Preserve is the Mojave Road.

- Afton Canyon - These trails vary in length and take you past many cliffs and narrow canyons. Afton Canyon is outside the western boundry of Majave National Preserve.
