The Kodachrome Trail is a part of a system of old mining roads east of the Las Vegas Valley in Nevada. This slice of Earth's history is where you can see burnt-orange sandstone outcrops sculpted over millions of years by wind and water. Layers of sedimentary and volcanic rock jut from the remains of an ancient sea floor.
