Competition Hill is a large sand hill at the Glamis Sand Dunes in Imperial County, California. Sand rails, quads, jeeps and motorcycles have organized and spontaneous races up the hill on weekend days. Throughout the 1980's and 1990's, it was the main gathering place for sand toys at Glamis. Law enforcement has been deployed on weekends to keep this area closed at night.
