Beasley Knob OHV Area
From Dirtopia, The Off-Road Encyclopedia
Beasley Knob OHV Area is closed from the first Monday in January through the middle of March. The actual opening date depends on weather and trail conditions. Many of the trails within this system are classed as difficult to most difficult. This area is recommended for experienced riders only. A fee is required to ride on this trail system. This area is suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles, ATV's and motorcycles.
The difficulty rating for this trail can be deceiving. After rains, the trails get pretty nasty and people have been known to roll while attempting to power their way uphill. But on a dry day, a stock TJ could run most of the trails.
Beasley Knob is a relatively small OHV area, but offers one of the few options in north Georgia. It is fun for a day and has several moderately challenging obstacles so that all but the most hard-core can have a good time.
